The City of Obetz is committed to providing quality services that meet the needs of our residents, and we need your help! With the City’s current trash contract set to expire at the end of February, we’re working hard to secure a new agreement that balances affordability and enhanced services for the community.
What’s Changing?
As we move forward, we anticipate an increase of approximately $2 per month in trash service rates. Additionally, we’re considering an exciting new option to include curbside recycling service. This would mean a dedicated rolling container for recycling at an added cost of $2–$3 per month.
However, implementing curbside recycling would be a citywide decision—either everyone participates, or the service is not included. That’s why your input is so important!
