Local Traffic Crash Report

In Ohio, it is illegal to drive any motor vehicle without insurance or proof of financial responsibility.  It is also illegal for any motor vehicle owner to allow anyone else to drive the owner’s vehicle without proof of insurance or of financial responsibility.

Ohio Law states no person shall operate a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs of abuse or both.  Ohio has set a presumptive level of .08% BAC (Blood Alcohol Content)

However, being under the level of .08 does not mean you are not impaired and you may be charged with OVI with a BAC which is less than .08.
