A number of recreational programs are offered through Obetz Athletics including football, cheerleading, softball, and baseball. Obetz Athletics’ primary goal is to develop healthy, happy, athletes who learn the fundamental techniques, skills, and sporting attitudes that will allow them to enjoy a lifetime of athletic competition.

Football and Cheerleading
Football and cheerleading are offered for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Football and cheerleading sign-ups will begin on a date TBA in May and end on a date TBA in July. All football games are played on Saturdays in Memorial Park.

Baseball and Softball
Obetz offers co-ed T-ball; boys recreational coach pitch, farm team coach pitch, minor league, and major league baseball; and girls recreational U8, U10, and U12 softball leagues. Obetz also sponsors competitive baseball and softball teams for various age groups.
This year Obetz Athletics has partnered with the Canal Winchester and Bexley Youth Leagues. Games will be played on fields at the Hamilton Local School District complex and Memorial Park in Obetz as well as fields in Canal Winchester and Bexley.
Registration is available online only, please go to the main page of this website, click on Parks & Recreation, then click on Sportsmanager to register. Registration is $65.00 for those with children attending Hamilton and Groveport schools or living or working in the Village of Obetz. A $25.00 late fee will be charged for registering after the deadline. Anyone living or working outside of Obetz can sign their children up to participate in our athletic programs this spring for a fee of $90.00.
