Karate Classes at the Obetz Community Center
Looking for a fun and exciting way to get active and build your confidence? Look no further than our Karate program at the Obetz Community Center! Our program is open to kids and adults aged 6 years and up, and meets every Tuesday and Thursday. With experienced instructors and a focus on discipline and respect, our Karate program will help you develop essential physical and mental skills, while having a blast! Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or a beginner looking to try something new, our program has something to offer for everyone. Join us today and watch yourself grow into a confident, disciplined, and skilled Karate practitioner!

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays- ongoing program through 2023. You choose the months you attend/pay.

A message from your instructor: Since 8 years old I have been in this life long journey learning Karate after my dad and his dad. I have competed across many states (and still do) and have won a few state and national champions along the way. I have dedicated most of my life learning the ins and outs of the secrets and history of karate. I am always hungry for more and I want nothing more than to share it with you! Karate has helped me with all the sports I’ve grew up playing and continues to help me in everyday life.
We will be learning how to protect yourself as the Okinawans did against the Japanese samurai, as well as their history and culture. Your development in focus, self body control, mental stability, strength, stamina, and heart will increase tremendously. We do not water down anything, this will be fun, hard, easy work! You will need a uniform and gear but we can worry about that after you decide to sign up, but for now just bring something loose and comfortable to wear. Come join this beautiful experience with us!
