The City of Obetz invites community members ages 55 and older to spring into resources at our Senior Resource Fair on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Obetz Community Center (1650 Obetz Avenue).

Doors open at 9:45 a.m., and the event is completely free to attend.

This engaging, high-energy event connects older adults and caregivers with trusted local organizations offering services that support healthy, active, and informed living. Attendees can explore vendor tables, gather helpful resources, and speak directly with experts from organizations including:

• Lifecare Alliance

• Humana

• Ohio Attorney General’s Office

• CareSource

• Brookdale

• Lifeline of Ohio

• Ohio Department of Insurance

• Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging

Free Wellness Checks & Live Demonstrations

Be sure to visit our Wellness Check Stations, where guests can receive free health screenings such as blood pressure, glucose, and vision checks.

We’re also excited to share that Kroger Health will be onsite providing vaccinations during the event, including COVID-19 vaccines. Seniors 65+ are currently due for their second COVID dose, making this a convenient opportunity to stay up to date and protect your health.

Attendees are encouraged to pre-register using the QR code on the Kroger flyer, which is linked here and will be posted at the Obetz Community Center. Pre-registration allows Kroger to run insurance ahead of time and eliminates the need to complete paperwork on the day of the event, helping the process move quickly and smoothly.

Throughout the morning, our Live Demo Zone will feature short presentations and interactive activities every 15 minutes, including:

• WrestleFit demonstration

• Gentle stretch and fitness class

• Chair volleyball

• Cardio drumming

• Educational sessions in the Multi-Purpose Room

Whether you want to learn something new, get moving, or take proactive steps for your health, there’s something for everyone.

All attendees will receive a free Obetz tote bag at check-in. Enjoy light refreshments (coffee and donuts provided while supplies last), connect with neighbors, and snap a photo at our Senior Resource Fair backdrop before you head out.
