City of Obetz Welcomes BBI Transportation
The City of Obetz is pleased to announce that BBI Transportation, a prominent trucking services provider, is making a significant investment in the community. The company’s expansion into Obetz will create 105 new jobs, bringing a total annual payroll of $5.9 million to the area. This new office space and terminal will serve as a regional headquarters for BBI Transportation, strengthening their operations across the Midwest and Southeast United States.
With a $6.25 million investment, BBI Transportation’s new facility will bolster its presence in the Columbus region. The site is designed to enhance fleet operations and streamline logistics, improving service delivery for their growing client base.

The 105 new jobs, ranging from office staff to drivers, will provide valuable opportunities for the local workforce and further solidify Obetz’s reputation as a key logistics hub. Hiring for these positions is set to begin immediately.
