As the weather warms up, it’s time to paddle into excitement at Dixon Quarry! Whether you’re a seasoned kayaker or new to the sport, our rental station has everything you need for a day of fun on the water. Operating hours are every day from 7 AM to 7 PM, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the water and the sun!
For just $25, you get two hours of adventure, including a kayak, paddle, and a life vest! Don’t forget to wear your life vest—it can get pretty deep in some spots, as much as 18 ft!
Simply download the Rent.Fun app and scan the QR code on the machine for the kayak you want to rent. You can conveniently pay for your rental and sign the waivers all within the app. Once you are set up, it couldn’t be easier for repeat adventures!
To make this experience even better, we’re seeking grant money through NatureWorks to add a floating kayak launch. This would help create better accessibility for our less experienced and less mobile individuals.
