Alum Creek Railroad Crossing Improvement Project

The Ohio Rail Development Commission (ORDC), in cooperation with the City of Obetz and CSX Transportation (CSXT), is planning a railroad crossing reconstruction project at Alum Creek Dr. in Obetz. The project aims to improve the roadway surface of the railroad crossing for the benefit of the traveling public.
 
The project and closure are planned to start on Monday, November 27, 2023. Alum Creek Dr. at the CSXT railroad crossing will be closed for up to 10 days while reconstruction work is completed. The projected crossing re-opening is Friday, December 8, 2023.
 
A detour has been developed for this project utilizing Williams Rd., S. Hamilton Rd., London-Groveport Rd., and Groveport Rd.
