Obetz Continues Investment in Orchard 38 Business Incubator
OBETZ, OHIO (October 28, 2025) — The Obetz City Council has approved an additional $2.5 million appropriation to continue construction of the Orchard 38 Business Incubator, a cornerstone project in the City’s ongoing economic development strategy.
Located at the intersection of Groveport Road and Orchard Lane, Orchard 38 will provide modern commercial space designed to support new and expanding businesses. The facility is expected to feature three restaurant and retail suites. The City has signed letters of intent with Berried N Business, Blasian Grill, and a new full-service restaurant and bar currently operating under the working title The Forktress. While details are still being finalized, each prospective tenant reflects the City’s continued commitment to supporting small business growth and entrepreneurship.
The additional funding will allow the City to complete interior construction, utilities, fixtures, and equipment necessary for the facility’s full operation. Once open, Orchard 38 will serve as a launchpad for entrepreneurship, innovation, and local job creation.
“This investment keeps Obetz moving forward,” said Mayor Angela Kirk. “Orchard 38 will give small-business owners the space and support they need to thrive right here in our community.”
