Child Safety Wristbands Available at the Famous Fortress Fireworks
Large events can be exciting—but they can also be overwhelming, especially for families with young children. To help keep everyone safe and provide peace of mind, the City of Obetz is introducing a new Child Safety Initiative at this year’s Famous Fortress Fireworks.
Bright yellow child safety wristbands will be available at the Police Tent located near the Ops Building—that’s the building on the south end of the field, on the side of the Fortress closest to the Obetz Athletic Club.
Parents and guardians can write their name and phone number on the wristband, making it easy for event staff or public safety personnel to quickly contact you if you and your child become separated.
This simple safety measure helps ensure a fun, family-friendly environment and allows you to enjoy the night’s festivities with added peace of mind. We encourage all families with young children to stop by the Police Tent and take advantage of this helpful resource.
