• Resident Access Only: Use of the splash pad will be limited to Obetz residents with a valid Obetz Black Card. More information about your Black Card can be found here: Black Card FAQ

• Wristbands Required: Black Card holders must check in at the rental window to receive a wristband for entry.

• Guest Policy: Each resident may bring up to two guests per visit. Guests must remain with the resident at all times.

• New Signage: Updated signage will be posted at Junction Park, and additional information will be shared on our official social media channels.

• PARK HOURS:
  • Sunday to Thursday: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Friday & Saturday: 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• SPLASH PAD HOURS:
  • Monday to Sunday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

 

Junction Park Rentals & Concessions

• Memorial Day Weekend-Mid August (Summer Hours) Sunday to Saturday: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Concessions are open. Visitors are still allowed to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Concession menu includes:

• Popcorn
• Applesauce
• Pretzel
• Hot Dog
• Pizza
• Pickles
• Ice Cream
• Candy
• Pop
• Gatorade
• Water

Additional Rules and Reminders:

• The splash pad is for children 12 and under and their guardians.

• Individuals over 12 should not use the splash pad.

• Those 16 and older may only be on the pad when actively supervising a young child.

• Adults and teens should not sunbathe or lounge in the splash pad area without a child present.

• Grills are not permitted in Junction Park. Charcoal grills are prohibited in all Obetz parks for safety reasons.

• Junction Park remains open to the public – the splash pad is only open for residents. 

City staff will be on-site daily to help ensure these guidelines are followed.

If you are a resident and do not yet have a digital Obetz Black Card, please email blackcard@obetz.gov to request one before July 14.

The Junction Park shelter house is available for all park visitors. It is not available for rentals.
