Sheetz breaks ground in Obetz

Sheetz broke ground on September 14 in Obetz. Their plan is to open a dozen locations each year through 2025 in Central Ohio.

Sheetz, Inc. is an American chain of convenience stores and coffee shops owned by the Sheetz family. The stores sell a mix of custom food, beverages and convenience store items. Nearly all of them sell gasoline. Its headquarters are in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

The new facility will be around 6,000 square feet and will be located at 5238 Alum Creek Drive. You will be able to find diesel pumps toward the back of the Obetz site.

Travis Sheetz, president and COO of the company, said Sheetz plans to make a $225 million investment in the central Ohio market over the next five years.
