Obetz Police visit Hamilton Local PK
Last week, a few Obetz Police officers visited the preschoolers at Hamilton Local Schools. The kids showed their appreciation for the Obetz Police officers and honored the fallen Westerville Police officers Eric Joering and Tony Morelli.
Here is the message from Hamilton Local Schools‘ Facebook:
Today, our Hamilton Local PK students and staff showed their appreciation for Village of Obetz police, while also honoring fallen Westerville Police officers Eric Joering and Tony Morelli. One of our district’s speech language pathologists (Westerville native), Ashley Brady came up with the idea to create custom signs with each of our pre-k students’ hand prints included in paint and present them. Signs were created specifically for Obetz and Westerville Police Departments so they could display them in their offices. Later today, one sign will be placed at the memorial that has been setup in the City Government of Westerville, Ohio. Thank you to Obetz PD officers Maynard and Mitchell for representing your department and local law enforcement at our presentation. #ThankYouForProtectingUs #WestervilleStrong
