GREAT Bus System

In 2015, Obetz teamed with the City of Groveport and the Central Ohio Transit Agency (COTA) to offer bus service from COTA Line 22 stops in Obetz to businesses in the industrial parks. The RED LINE will be stopping at 12 locations in the Village of Obetz.

Changes as of May 1, 2017

The Red shuttle (this shuttle serves Obetz) will now begin and end its route at the Marathon station just as the Green & Blue Routes have always done. For most riders, the stop sequence and timing will remain the same but the Gateway Court Stop will be replaced by the Marathon Stop #7063 at Alum Creek Drive and London-Groveport Road. There will be NO GREAT service to Gateway Court as of May 1st. Riders connecting to any of the Red Route Stops should remain on COTA until arriving at the Marathon.

Other important information:

  • The Line #81 will become the #22
  • An additional Line #24 will begin serving the area during morning and afternoon peaks.
  • The #22 & #24 are scheduled to arrive at the Marathon within minutes of each other during the time the #24 is serving the area.

Because of this, GREAT needs to connect with both lines at a single stop so that all riders from both lines can access any of the three GREAT shuttles.
